Title:CVE-2014-4943 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (precise) - high.
Description:The PPPoL2TP feature in net/l2tp/l2tp_ppp.c in the Linux kernel through 3.15.6 allows local users to gain privileges by leveraging data-structure differences between an l2tp socket and an inet socket. Sasha Levin reported a flaw in the Linux kernel's point-to-point protocol (PPP) when used with the Layer Two Tunneling Protocol (L2TP). A local user could exploit this flaw to gain administrative privileges.
