Summary: | Sieve is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of script error messages. By sending malformed data to a Sieve script to cause the script to generate an error message of more than 500 characters, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary commands on the system with elevated privileges. | ||||||
