Vulnerability Name:

CCN-10826

Published:2002-12-11
Updated:2002-12-11
Summary:Macromedia ColdFusion MX and Macromedia JRun are vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a vulnerability in the Web services XML parser. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted message to the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) interface to cause the XML parser to enter into an infinite loop, which would consume all available CPU resources.
