Vulnerability Name:

CCN-10875

Published:2002-12-15
Updated:2002-12-15
Summary:PHP-Nuke could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information. A remote attacker could submit a specially-crafted URL request to the voteinclude.php, navbar.php, attachment.php, auth.php, comments.php, functions.php, index.php, read.php or reply.php script for a non-existent file, which would cause an error message to be returned that contains the physical path to the requested script. This information could then be used by the attacker to launch further attacks against the affected server.
