CCN-10921

Published:2002-12-20

Summary:PHP-Nuke could allow a remote attacker to insert extra mail headers into outgoing email messages by injecting CRLF (Carriage Return - Line Feed) combinations into HTTP headers using a specially-crafted URL request. This is caused by an input validation vulnerability in the PHP mail() function. An attacker could use this vulnerability to send anonymous email messages using any affected PHP-Nuke installation.
