Summary: | ProFTPD is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a buffer overflow. By sending a PASS command of more than 12 KB during authentication, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and cause the FTP daemon to crash. ProFTPD must be restarted to regain normal functionality. | ||||||
