Vulnerability Name:

CCN-110676

Published:2016-02-16
Updated:2016-02-16
Summary:NTP is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a buffer overflow in the ctl_putdata() function. By sending an overly long string argument, a remote authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the ntpd daemon to crash.
