Summary:

HP-UX is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the rpc.yppasswdd service, which is the daemon for modifying Network Information Service passwords in the database. A local attacker could exploit this buffer overflow to execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges or cause the system to crash.
