Vulnerability Name:

CCN-11385

Published:2003-02-18
Updated:2003-02-18
Summary:PHP-Nuke is vulnerable to SQL injection, caused by a vulnerability in the auth.php script, which fails to properly filter the $admin variable. By sending a specially-crafted cookie to the auth.php script containing arbitrary SQL code in the $admin variable, a remote attacker could modify the logic of underlying SQL queries and add, modify, or delete data from the backend database.
