Vulnerability Name:

CCN-118293

Published:2016-10-24

Summary:Apple Mac OS/iOS is vulnerable to a man-in-the-middle attack, caused by the failure to validate certificate authority, common name etc. to OCSP URLs in SecureTransport. By creating a self-sign certificate with huge list of OCSP URLs, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to trigger network traffic prior to informing user about untrusted certificate.
