Summary: | Microsoft Internet Explorer, Outlook, and FrontPage are vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the shlwapi.dll library. A remote attacker could create a malicious Web page containing malformed HTML FORM tags, which would cause a null pointer overwrite and cause the program to crash, once the Web page is opened. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by hosting the malicious Web page on a Web site or by sending it to a potential victim as an HTML email. | ||||||
