Vulnerability Name:

CCN-12978

Published:2003-08-20
Updated:2003-08-20
Summary:OpenBSD could allow a local attacker to cause a denial of service attack, caused by a buffer overflow in the semget(2) function. By passing an overly long string to the semget(2) function and running a query that calls the function, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and cause a kernel panic.
