Vulnerability Name:

CCN-155908

Published:2019-01-21
Updated:2019-01-21
Summary:Xen could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the combination of the Spectre V1 and L1TF approach in the in the CPU speculative branch instruction execution feature. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain data from the cache on hyperthread of a given CPU core and to read out the cached data on another
hyperthread of the same CPU core.
