Summary:HP OpenView Operations and OpenView VantagePoint, when running on HP-UX and Solaris, could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized administrative access to the system. HP OpenView Operations and VantagePoint fail to properly validate privileges, caused by a missing authentication check. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain administrative access to the vulnerable system.
