Summary: | Microsoft Internet Explorer could allow a remote attacker to overwrite a user's registry. By creating a specially-crafted Web page that uses the onLoad and window.location methods to invoke a 'file://' URL that contains a hexadecimal URL encoded drive name, a remote attacker could overwrite the ECX, EDX, and EDI registers, once the victim visits the malicious Web page. | ||||||
