Summary: | PHP-Nuke is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input in the Web_links, Journal, Stories Archive or Topics Archive modules. A remote attacker could embed HTML or JavaScript in the search box, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the search is submitted. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials. | ||||||
