Summary: | Microsoft Internet Explorer is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the MSHTML.DLL shared library, which is used for parsing HTML in Internet Explorer. A remote attacker could create a specially-crafted Web page, which would cause a NULL pointer dereference and the victim's Web browser to crash, once the link is clicked. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by hosting the malicious Web page on a Web site or by sending it to a victim as an HTML email. | ||||||
