Vulnerability Name:

CCN-183491

Published:2020-06-15
Updated:2020-06-15
Summary:NETGEAR R7000 routers are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the upgrade_check.cgi script. By sending a specially-crafted HTTP request, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
