Summary: | Novell Desktop Linux could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information. If a user creates a symbolic link to a SMB networked file or folder, then the username and password will be displayed in plain text on the desktop and within the file's meta data and filename. A local attacker with read privileges on other files could view the meta data or file name or view the information displayed on the desktop to obtain the victim's username and password in plain text. | ||||||
