Vulnerability Name:

CCN-185524

Published:2020-07-20
Updated:2020-07-20
Summary:Microsoft Windows could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by an out-of-bounds read flaw when parsing HEIC files. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted HEIC file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive information, and use this information to launch further attacks against the affected system.
