Vulnerability Name:

CCN-209531

Published:2021-09-16
Updated:2021-09-16
Summary:Microsoft Windows is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the "cmd.exe" commandline interpreter. By sending specially-crafted arguments using /c /k flags, a local authenticated attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
