Summary: | Microsoft Windows could allow a local attacker to hide specific information caused by a vulnerability in the Registry Editor Utility (regedt32.exew). The Registry Editor Utility fails to properly handle long string names. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a string containing a long name to cause the string and any other strings in the key to become hidden. This would allow malware to hide strings within the Run Registry key. | ||||||
