Vulnerability Name:

CCN-219815

Published:2022-02-16
Updated:2022-02-16
Summary:MariaDB is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the processing of SQL queries. By sending a specially-crafted request, a local authenticated attacker could overflow a buffer and escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of the service account.
