Vulnerability Name:

CCN-22221

Published:2005-09-09
Updated:2005-09-09
Summary:IBM OS/400 could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions caused by an unspecified vulnerability with the local Certificate Authority. The local Certificate Authority certificates fail to contain the X509 basic constraints extension. As a result, this could allow for incorrect verification of the certification chains.
