Vulnerability Name:

CCN-3838

Published:2000-01-12
Updated:2000-01-12
Summary:BIND victim.dom name server could allow a denial of service attack. A denial of service could occur when the victim.dom name servers are in the cache and the victim.dom changes its server names. An attacker making recursive queries through the cache on the target system could break the victim.dom lookups until the old records time out.
