Vulnerability Name:

CCN-50212

Published:2009-04-29
Updated:2009-04-29
Summary:Multiple ESET products could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by a vulnerability in the file parsing engine. By sending a specially-crafted CAB file to a vulnerable system, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass scanning detection and possibly launch further attacks on the vulnerable system.
