Vulnerability Name:

CCN-55604

Published:2010-01-13
Updated:2010-01-13
Summary:NetBSD is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a coding error in the VFS filesystem. By unmapping and passing a pointer to the mount system call prior to being used by the module uploader, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to trigger a kernel panic.
