Vulnerability Name:

CCN-5825

Published:2000-12-20
Updated:2000-12-20
Summary:ZoneAlarm could allow a remote attacker to gain privileges if file sharing is enabled on the system. A remote attacker can use NetBIOS drive mappings to gain access to the ZoneAlarm install directory during the boot process, and then delete or modify the ZoneAlarm application. If the ZoneAlarm application is disabled, the remote attacker can gain complete access to the system and can execute arbitrary code or perform other attacks.
