Summary:X Window System is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. X Window System fails to properly handle large amounts of characters sent indefinitely. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending large streams of character data to the X Window System daemon port 6000 to cause the server to freeze. The server must be restarted to regain normal functionality.
