CCN-6116

Published:2001-02-15
Updated:2001-02-15
Summary:Novell NetWare could allow an attacker to recover password hashes and the user's RSA private key, due to a vulnerability in the protocol implementation. An attacker could eavesdrop on client/server communications during the login sequence and perform a man-in-the-middle attack to capture password hashes and the user's RSA private key. An attacker can use this information to gain unauthorized access to the server.
