Vulnerability Name:

CCN-62710

Published:2010-10-21
Updated:2010-10-21
Summary:NetBSD is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a signedness error in the SMBIOC_OPENSESSION ioctl. By allocating overly large memory buffers, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to exhaust all available memory resources.
