Vulnerability Name:

CCN-64495

Published:2010-12-20
Updated:2010-12-20
Summary:ProFTPD is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the sql_prepare_where() function. By sending a specially-crafted request, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
