Summary:Avira AntiVir could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an memory overwrite error in the avgntdd.sys driver. By sending a specially-crafted request, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with SYSTEM-level privileges or cause the application to crash.
