Summary:Ultrix DECNet-Internet Gateway software could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized root access to the system. In a default installation, the guest account is created with the shell of /bin/csh. A remote attacker using the DEC-Internet gateway could use this vulnerability to gain root privileges on the Ultrix gateway host.
