Vulnerability Name:

CCN-68339

Published:2011-06-30
Updated:2011-06-30
Summary:OpenSSH is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the pam_thread() function. By sending an overly long username, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
