Summary:VLC Media Player is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a NULL pointer dereference error in the httpd_ClientRecv() function when remote services are enabled. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability via a specially-crafted HTTP or RTSP URI to cause the application to crash.
