Vulnerability Name:

CCN-73308

Published:2012-02-17
Updated:2012-02-17
Summary:SAP NetWeaver is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the SAPHostControl service when processing commands wrapped in SOAP messages. By sending an overly long command, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
