Summary:The hplx-sendmail utility, developed by Hewlett-Packard, is a mail transport agent (MTA) based on the Unix Sendmail program. The version of hplx-sendmail included with HP Secure OS Software for Linux Release could allow a local attacker to gain root privileges on the system, caused by an input validation vulnerability in the debugging code.
