Summary:FFmpeg is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by an integer overflow error in the ea_read_packet() function within libavformat/electronicarts.c file. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted multimedia file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
