Summary:FFmpeg is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper bounds checking by the vcr1_decode_frame() in the libavcodec/vcr1.c file. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted multimedia file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to trigger an out-of-bounds error and cause the application to crash.
