Assigned:2011-07-01
Published:2011-07-01
Updated:2011-07-01
Summary:NetBSD is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by multiple libc/net functions. By sending an overly long string, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
